FUNDRAISING

We will be having various fundraisers throughout the year.  Two of our biggest fundraisers are the Edison Festival of Marching in September and our Tricky Tray in March.  Along with tagging and bagging, we will have various fundraising sales throughout the year. Details on these and other fundraisers are listed below. The profits of tagging, bagging and sales will be split between the General Band fund and the participating child's band account.

General Band Account

The General Band account is utilized for purchasing band equipment, instruments, supplies, truck rentals, show and music licensing fees, music techs, etc.  This is very important to the success of our band program.

Student's Band Account

A student's band account can help offset the cost of Band Camp, the Spring trips, Indoor Drumline and Winter Guard fees.  Money credit is allocated to each child who participates in the fundraisers. This money is only permitted for use in offsetting costs and fees which are associated directly with mandatory band and guard costs as listed above. No cash payouts are permitted from this fund.

We are always looking for new, creative and successful fundraising ideas.  If you have fundraising ideas or suggestions, please share them with our Fundraising Committee Chair.
